Bought it between 2-3 years old, it a 2001, have spent the last few years slowly getting it back in to proper shape. 97,000 miles, mechanically now spot on but needs paint work, front and rear bumpers, bonnet and rear quarter panel, due to years of being parked in the narrow roads of South West London

Hi Avtar,
The front springs have gone on my 2004 B3s convertible. Did you go OEM from BMW/Alpina after all in August?
How have you found it after what is now approx 3 months?
I am being quoted £170+VAT per spring never mind a 3 week lead time, since on back order, even if I could afford it :-(
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Hi

Yes i did go OEM and purchased everything through AlloyWheelsdDirect who are an authorised Alpina dealer. They are knowledgable and very helpful, the lead time was not 3 weeks, a lot less. I can send you more details later this week when i am back in the country.

I got my OEM suspension from Alloy Wheels Direct also. Found them to be quick, polite and cheaper than anyone else.
