Keep going, this makes me feel so much better about getting 22mpg from my 3.3 B3!

On winter tyres, a regular diet of 99 RON V-Power and 400 miles per week commute, I am now averaging 30mpg in the B3S - and Miss Daisy is nowhere in sight

the eagle has landed! after 18 months of not much happening. Mainly from moving house, lack of motivation, thinking of selling, needing professional help. The ball could be rolling for this turd. Its at BMR to hopefully get the engine running as its gone as far as my skills will allow

I've got it cranking over and pretty sure theres spark. Tested fuel pump and wiring is all correct but for some reason the ECU isn't sending the signal to the pump when cranking over. Its close to becoming alive again








apart from that its here at its new home. Until I sort the garage out and it can hopefully live in there with the e30 as there is enough room being a double! Its had a wash, put the wheels on and coughed up for a new bi turbo front spoiler as this was destroyed in the crash.

Also exhaust is back on, so fingers crossed. If its running I shall get it back here and start fixing everything up and get it into a running car ready for an MOT and go from there are my thoughts

yes will keep thread going. There is so much to do on it but the fact it runs makes it all seem a lot easier. As everything on a car revolves around the engine working

MOT?! not yet. Wait till you see all the suspension bushes! I'm going up there tomorrow to drop of some parts.

Popped up to BMR to deliver some parts from the stash to help it along. The plan is to make it turn key start as such with the cooling system bled up. They're sorting the throttle pedal, some wiring and getting the brakes/clutch bled up hopefully without too much drama and I can get it back home as a moving live car and work from there rather than still a dead driveway ornament. I can't afford to leave it there for the full monty. Nice to see it there with my old car, no.445. Looking epic it is. Brought my daughter home from hospital in it after she was born. Also for a much healthier bank balance I should never of sold it!!

Well time for an update, its been a while but theres been plenty to report and 95% of it all good.




I went back around chirstmas time to BMR to drop off some more parts required. Some rear shocks and springs and other parts my memory escapes me - front spoiler!



found this alpina part in a box, it allows the towing eye to fit with the front spoiler fitted - quite handy then!!




She came home last week. I'm a bit short on pictures but i'll try and remember all the stuff BMR have done.
