Looking for a B3 S Touring

Post by ali » Tue Apr 21, 2009 11:54 pm

Hello all, its a while since I have been on here.
I'm looking to replace my current 330i with a B3 ( Face lifted)or a B3 S Touring.
If anyone knows of anything for sale or coming up for sale that would be great. I had a look on the for sale section and they seem very hard to come across. Not surprising really as there are only 8 in the UK

It may just be me, but whilst the colour of the Touring looks great (I would say that) the Dynamics don't work.

Good luck with your search for a B3S Touring - the current rate is about £20k if you ask any of the three owners here. Any suggestions of a price cartel are completely unfounded

Seriously though, whether it is the 3.3 or 3.4 engine you may need to compromise on spec as they are incredibly rare and don't become available that often.

If you would like any specific advice then don't hesitate to drop me a line or post on the forum - happy to help

Thanks for the top tips re the prices. I read the other related threads last night after I posted this one. I suppose I shall join the queue and bide my time and hopefully one will come up at some point.
Re my Dynamics. They are the real deal in 19 inch staggered guise with proper E46 offset Every body is entitled to their opinion but I think they suit the touring lines down to a tee. I have never seen an E46 with them on apart from mine. maybe a couple of pictures may convine you ( or possibly not) I'm not trying to create an Alpina rep but I have always loved the Dynamics and it took me a year to find the ones I have

If you like them then that's the most important point.

Here's a comparison for people to make their minds up:

I'll just keep looking at the colour instead
