The perfect D3 oil?

Post by widetyres » Wed Jan 04, 2017 12:30 pm

Due an oil change and found Millers 5w50 on the market. Potentially this could be the perfect D3 oil - the cold start lubrication of LL04, with much better protection when pressing on and lower SAPS than 10w60, so more DPF friendly.

I don't know how widely Millers are available outside of the UK, but they are well thought of in motorsport circles here. Opieoil.co.uk have it available at a good price currently.

Thanks I'm going to give that a go. Opie only had 5ltr bottles but there was a motor sport seller on ebay offering 6l for £54 inc postage so i went for that.
