proposed Thruxton meet 2018 M & Alpina theme

Brian, without breaking any confidences but the costs for Thruxton were massive and I suspect Brands may also prove to be so. Therefore, if BMW UK are prepared to make a contribution of a significant amount I guess they can suggest where suits them best? I have no experience of Bedford, so cannot co...

Event Thruxton May 2108

Its pretty certain that this event will not take place at Thruxton. The reason for this is that the BMWCCGB wish to get support from BMW UK Limited, both financial and practical. Thuxton is an Audi approved location. The suggestion which is still under discussion and in the embryonic stage is for it...

2012 Alpina B7

I suspect the poster of this is not UK based? I am fairly certain no B7 were sold in UK with 2012 manufacture?

If it is a standard part then ebay perhaps is cheaper than a dealer?

ACE Cafe

The guy needs to give the ACE Café on site security the details so that those who have registered and come some distance do not find that last minute deciders turn up and take all the space. He say's allocated on a first come basis.

alpina ACE

I had a FB chat with this chap last night. It is his first ALPINA and he does not know too much about them ( not saying I do either). I suggested he might like to meet up before this event and perhaps start to compile a list of those who want to attend on here like we normally do. I did request that...

Alpina

Truly terrible. However interesting to note the black and white roundel will now be adopted by BMW AG and put on all their vehicles of over 100K GBP. Not ALPINA at same cost, it will also carry in silver lettering BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE

ACE Cafe

Please note you will need to find out who is organising this, there is precious little parking space at this location. The road in front is at least double yellow if not red lines. It is a very busy route and bus route. If you do attend and have not been allocated a space be prepared to be disappoin...

Alpina B7

This is the vehicle sold last year to a gent from the Teeside area who owned a plant hire company it is alleged. If indeed that is correct I was under the impression to the chosen specification the price was near 150K delivered. The vehicle was at some dealer in Boroughbridge North Yorks and is now ...

BMW CCGB National Festival Gaydon 2018 - will you go?

I know there were 20 ALPINA cars on display in the ALP section in 2017 and a number of others spread around. However, what will encourage or discourage you from attending in 2018?

Munich legends

It was quite busy, but as 1900 hrs was the published starting time it was dark by 2000 hrs and people started to leave. 4 Alpina cars in attendance, B7, B10, B10 V8S and Roadster S.

Good idea, wrong time of year, in my view.

There is this proposed M power and ALPINA event in May 2018 at Thruxton, Hampshire being organised by the BMW Car Club GB. If this takes off it might serve as a good place to meet? It is not a million miles from North Waltham which seemed to serve well, if we have a few local owners too it might mak...
