The seller is listed as a private seller but he seems to import these cars and Chuck them on collecting cars so surely he should be classed as a dealer?

You want to speak to Gary Lott at Sytner Nottingham.

In my experience the techs just fit what is supplied for the job. If the parts aren’t the correct spec the tech won’t know. I would get confirmation of oil grade and filter part numbers for you model from Nottingham Sytners and cross reference with your invoice once the work is completed.

It baffles me why some adverts block the registration, as it’s the first thing I would ask for if enquiring about a car to check the MOT history. Just makes me assume they have something to hide so look elsewhere when car buying.

That’s hilariously bad, can’t for the life of think what was in the owners mind doing that. Poor car.

Get the extended BMW warranty and pay monthly. It’s worth it. Do not pay an annual premium and forget any other warranty option. Cant help with the 2-3 year quibble but going forward there is only one sane way to go if wanting a warranty that actually does what you want it to when needed.

As these B6 models only seem to pop up for sale once in a few years in the U.K. it’s very hard to judge. Looking at the prices for them in Europe is possibly a guide as there are a few for sale there as most of them were sold into mainland Europe. European LHD cars are worth more than RHD versions t...

I think we must think about Norrie, having 80+ cars descend on him within an hour and get parked nicely is task enough, let’s not complicate things for the sake of it. A pot pourri of Alpina is a wonderful thing also to wander around I reckon.

I see a U.K. B10 V8 touring sold for £15k on the same site. Should be interesting to see how used cars prices have risen this year!
