Re: 2004 Alpina Roadster S #40
Perfect time to buy in my opinion. Not only that most punters who follow Alpinas will hold out for a good example and sometimes that means buying off season... Oh Yes. Definitely a good time to buy. (I bought #307 Saturday) but not an ideal time to sell so I’ll hold off selling #019 until the Sun p...

Re: Wanted: (Now found) Roadster S
On the weekend I picked up Roadster #307 so my search is over. #307 has 42.5k miles on and is an exact copy of #019 in Silver & Black but with half the miles. It's not quite in the condition I'd like it to be but with a bit of TLC I'm hoping it will be soon and if I'm happy with it , I'm planning to...

Re: 2004 Alpina Roadster S #40
It seems odd to try and sell a Roadster during a wet November and in the middle of Lockdown. You’d think a Trader would know better than to keep it for their own use all summer and then try to sell in Winter.
Surely a 3 month wait may see an easier sale and another £k on top ?

Re: Wanted: Roadster S
I notice you are in Bristol....my son was working there before being asked to WFH in London...if he needs to return to the office, I might come up in the car and give you a chance to view it... d Yes that would be great. I can always find an excuse to see another Roadster ! I'm right on the M4/M5 c...

Wanted: (Now found) Roadster S
I'm considering either adding to or replacing my current Alpina Roadster S I'm looking for a later (2005/6) low mileage (c50k), well kept example. I don't mind if Lux or Standard as History and condition are more important. Having updated this thread, https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=...

Re: Roadster S #257
The Auction all seemed a bit of a mess. I was informed the reserve was £16k, then it was lowered, then it wasn't, then it was and that the chap who bought it from the original owner had sold it to the auctioneer before the sale. It all got confusing but seemed to go for the about the right price in ...

Re: Wider tyres Z4 Alpina
Basically that will add 5mm width to each side of the tyre so if you have that clearance from the strut and the arch, you'd be fine. However, if there is a problem it is more likely to be on full lock rather than in a straight line. Are there any other factors, like lower suspension to consider too ...

Always nice to see a fellow Roadster.
It must be time for the hard top to come off now though, given Aprils weather ?

Charles, I came to the same conclusion that it was still best for me to tax it and stay with Admiral, but the principal still smarted a bit. Anyway, A friend of mine with a Z4M emailed them yesterday and got a reply form a general clerk saying it wasn't a problem and was covered whilst declared off ...
