I did read his original review, where he spoke highly of the car, but to then make the top 5 list is certainly an achievement. Eagerly awaiting the Grand Tour review. Over 2 months and 1,400 miles in, and I'm certainly loving my G31. The perfectly balanced all-rounder I was after, although I don't h...

Re: A question to the people

Which dealers numberplates and stickers should the car of had when new? Unless there is some legal reason, to which I'm unaware of, is it a case of 'should', or more which would you prefer? I don't believe there is a right or wrong answer. Aren't any dealer's stickers/plates etc. just an advertisem...

Well, still not found that elusive reliable fast estate car with a full sized spare wheel, chain cam engine, 2000kg tow capacity, dip stick etc. But as the French government has now reduced the speed limit on all roads to 80kph, that's 50mph - (it's slightly higher on dual carriageways) the need fo...

I don’t doubt it’s a nicely spec’d car but, with that sort of milage, I’d expect it be around three or four grand cheaper!! It could be priced at £25k, and you'd probably comment the same. According to you, the new cars are overpriced, and anyone would be a **** to buy one - I happen to be...

Could someone enlighten me about the process of ownership on this car... What’s the point in creating an advert now if the vehicle’s going to be ‘lived in’ for a few more months to come and have the milage adjusted accordingly? Surely anyone that has a firm enough interest in the car to put...

Is there room for a full sized spare wheel under the boot floor? Sorry for the delay, I know this is of no benefit to you now anyway, as I've already answered your question, but posting pics anyway, in case it helps assist anyone. http://theALPINAregister.com/forums/userpix/53324_boot_1_2.jpg http:...

Re: alpina

I also have a picture of an ALPINA tractor which wont up load ( says internal server error) I was having the some problem when uploading photos. I had to crop them to reduce the file size. I think any photo taken on anything more than a potato, causes an issue! **EDIT** - I've just been playi...

Quite possibly. It was/is the showroom model, and it was with them for a few weeks waiting to get into DVSA for the WLTP checks

Is there room for a full sized spare wheel under the boot floor? Unfortunately not. I'll post a photo shortly to show you exactly, but there are two compartments, both of which aren't very deep; 1) for storage or first aid kit and emergency tyre refill + a few other bits you may fit in there 2) sto...

Pretty sure there's only one B5 demonstrator on the fleet at Sytner - the green one. I believe they're now using a blue touring as well as FE18 OCC; https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/search/?make%5B%5D=ALPINA&model%5BALPINA%5D%5B%5D=B5&finance%5B%5D=price&payment-term%5B%5D=48&payment-deposit%5B%...
