Looks lovely, but I'd agree with the comments above. I'm getting some house stuff out of the way in April, and once completed, an F31 D3 is something I fancy owning. However, I've not seen one with what I'd call proper spec. LSD, prof nav, H/K, pano roof, electric memory seats etc etc. Compromises ...

always detested the smaller screen nav, just feels cheap and average. Huge put off for me.

Im really surprised at the pricing here as tourings are hard to get and the specification is good. Hi I have a 3 series with N57 and a D3 bi turbo and the Alpina is probably slightly more economical in same runs if anything. Suspension is bilstein I think not Ohlin and looks same design as BMW standard units, alpina use their own spring rate and damping though. Ride is much better than standard ...

Thanks Charles, lots of useful info. Is there a list of how many f31s were or are made plus colours? This ones got the roundels in the seats but again think thats a standard feature? Cheers

Bavarian coding do it, its reasonably big bucks, but having had it in a 640d its better than the analogue read outs. What iv yet to see if how the alpina set would look as the navy blue dials are iconic in these cars, in my opinion.

Currently in negotiations over an f31 d3 biturbo. Was after melbourne red tourer but next to impossible to get hold of! As a long time fan of alpinas I am just wanting to sense check a few things:- 1) External badges should all be bmw? 2) Alpina and d3 bi turbo badges best bought from sytner notting...
