This is quite handy for working out what wheel and tyre combo is required to maintain overall diameters:

Re: ULEZ Compliance - Forum database
And so, without me providing any CoC, tfl have suddenly emailed me to announce that my Alpina is ULEZ compliant. Victory!

Re: ULEZ Compliance - Forum database
I emailed classic@alpina.de with a request for ULEZ conformity, and very pleasingly received a helpful same day reply, confirming that my F30 D3 (2014) is ULEZ compliant to Euro 6 W standards (NOx 0.0696g/km). The reply from Johanna Ellinger asked whether I would like a duplicate CoC or an OEM conf...

Re: Help - my renewal quote doubled !!
So, I got my quote for my classic car insurance for by E39 B10 3.3 Touring and '93 Saab 900 Turbo. Up 41%. Not doubled, I grant you, but very unwelcome all the same.
I suppose I'm going to have to start ringing around for alternative quotes. Not fun and so time consuming.

I got two PS4s for the front of my E39 B10 the week before Christmas from Merityre. So they are still around with some stockists.

Re: Reverse spotting!
Reverse spotting is definitely a thing.
Earlier this year, I had a guy take a picture on his phone when he was behind me at traffic lights. He later drew alongside on a dual carriageway and gave me a big thumbs up.

Re: ULEZ - older ALPINAs
Hi all, I've emailed apina to obtain an emissions certificate nearly 2 weeks ago and still not received a response yet. How long did they take other members to respond? Cheers Bloody ages. For my first request anyway. I think the email must have gone down a black hole, becuase I resent and got a re...

Re: Newbie in Dubai
Hi,
Alpina won't keep a record because owners can buy new centre caps with new keys.
It's not a big problem to drill them out. I did it at home with a normal domestic electric drill.
Cheers

Black D3 saloon at The Alloy Clinic, Badshot Lea
Popped in to collect some alloys and was surprised to see an Alpina there. I don't often see other Alpinas.
Obviously it was having some alloy wheel(s) refurbed.

Re: ULEZ Compliance - Forum database
Not sure - seems strange but the important thing is that they are prepared to certify it and you can get exemption from ULEZ charges I think it makes sense because we know the engines are handbuilt by a single person. As part of quality control each engine would then need to be tested individually ...
