Re: New here

Welcome Ian - love the idea of Alpina-ising the hand controls!

Best of luck in your search - hope it's fruitful.

Re: D3 DPF "Challenges"

Good advice from previous posters. Had something similar on my 325d - discovered that both the main and EGR Thermostats were open so coolant was <90C, 2 Glow plugs were not working and the controller was faulty. Woods Motors Cranwell, Lincs - Sat 27 Jul 19

Dan Woods (BMW Specialist and Alpina B3 owner) is holding the first informal meet on Sat 27 Jul at his Garage near Cranwell. He'd be delighted to see some Alpinas in addition to BMWs and assorted other performance wagons. I'm told the cafe next door serves a hearty breakfast... I'm planning to go - ...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Have a look on YouTube - there's plenty of videos on how to do the reset (look for e46 service reset). It can be a bit fiddly to get right.

Hope that helps

Re: My B3 - Some TLC & Upgrades

if it helps.... I went for the stage 2 Amp plus Bluetooth streaming and pre-outs - works a treat and is really simple to install etc. The original speakers are not that great and changing them out does make a big difference. I'm keeping the OEM headunit - like you I have Navigation and have got an u...
