EGR Recall

For clarity, a check of the BMW chassis number will advise whether or not the vehicle is subject to the recall. All affected cars then need to be inspected, but not all will require parts to be replaced, your BMW workshop will advise.

Many thanks Gary

EGR Recall

Not strictly true.

The service department can tell if the car is subject to a recall by inputting the BMW chassis number. Thanks Gary

EGR Recall

Hello everyone, I get a steady stream of emails and calls from ALPINA owners requesting to know whether their car is subject to the EGR recall. My recommendation is to telephone or call into your local BMW dealer, quote the BMW chassis number and they'll update you as to whether the work is required...

2019 Register Meet

Good morning all, rest assured, I'm working on this as time allows. There isn't room at Sytner Nottingham for the get together. Over 100 cars converging on an operational site is just to disruptive to business.

I have a couple of options to view and will update you as soon as I'm able.

Thanks Gary

ZX68DRJ is a false plate generated by Autocar to hide the German registration plates (the B4S was collected from the factory). Personally I think it looks more evocative with its Buchloe OAL 04471 plate!

A Great Testament to BMW ALPINA Engineering

Testament to BMW ALPINA's engineering is this March 2014 example of the D3 Touring which has covered 210,000 miles and incredibly didn't need its first set of front discs and pads until 100,000 miles. The car, operated by Sytner's Used Car Director has clearly earned its keep and has been driven ent...

Let me put the record straight with this car. It was the Geneva show car this year and was allocated to Singapore. For reasons unknown, the Singapore importers didn't want it, so ALPINA asked me if I'd take the car and we hatched a plan to make a it a long term demonstrator. Consequently, Autocar st...

To confirm the EDITION 99 is RHD for UK allocation. All six cars allocated have found homes two weeks after the car was announced.

Contrary to the remarks I'm reading here, the EDITION 99 promises to be a fabulous car and a classic of the future.
