The underside needs a good examination, I think they’re might be sill and rear footwell issues.

Try disconnecting the round warning speaker under the dash. If it goes away you’ll narrow it down to the functions that use the speaker, rather than radio, phone etc.

I’ve done both the Vanos repair and installed the upgrade washers when mine rattled. Could have been either causing it. X8R Beisan Systems Hack Engineering All do Vanos repair kits. I’m not too picky with most trim options but I’m really not a fan of black interiors unless there’s a really good reason.

I’m not quite in a position to buy yet either as I need to sell a race car to make room.

I did see that. The black interior puts me off though.
