What confusion? All ALPINA boot or bonnet roundels are fake, the proper ones are fitted in Buchloe.

I'm off for a wee drive round Europe in a week or so and thought it would be nice to head for Buchloe and drop by the factory.

Chas's cars looked stunning and the B8 was really stirring a lot of interest.

I've had my 340bhp B10 V8 up to 168mph (5600rpm in top) on the A7 North of Hamburg. It was still accelerating, all be it gradually, when a Polo on the horizon pulled out to pass a truck... I don't doubt it would have reached 173mph given enough space and 160mph is certainly within the car's usable s...
