F30 B3BT Touring

Very stealthy, no badging or model number on the tailgate. Silver, M1 Northbound, came off near Leicester. V proud of myself for a geek spot - only the quad pipes and the spoiler (without letters picked out in black) gave it away. Had what is either a fantastic Fast Jet/Fleet Air Arm numberplate, or...

Good news on the arches & TC mate. I started with 0w-30 and moved to 10w-60 Castrol Edge as I found I got more miles per litre. Alpina ideas all now on hold - I knew it was too good to be true! But this isn't Mrs-induced. Dunno if anyone's seen much of the news today, but it means I'm off to Sierra ...

Not at all! I'm sure everyone one this forum will agree that reading about cars NEVER gets boring! Yeah, I sold it to James, glad the SH folder has stayed complete. The Bilstein's were fantastic replacements for the tired OEMs. I used 330d items on the front rather than 330i spec as the 3.3 uses an ...

Elan, I owned this car for 4 years and sold it to a friend of a friend in about June/July 2012, in mileage terms from about 90k to 140k. Hopefully you're in possession of the meticulously maintained history file that went with the car when I sold it...?! If not feel free to PM me or we can have a ch...

I am very pleased to say that I have just sold No 113 to a chap who I know through work. I have told Jamie all about the register, and I'm sure he will be along to introduce himself in a few day's time. He is on his way to the car's new home in Somerset and I am sure will already be enjoying himself...

Has the car ever had a gearbox rebuild in it's life? Just curious about the longevity of the box Nope. I had the oil changed (not flushed) a couple of years ago which made it a bit smoother, but it works exactly the same now as it did when I bought it with 95k on the clock, so whilst the gearbox ha...

Have you had any response on PH Rich? I suspect the 02 Touring doesn't have a snowball's chance at twice the price  My thoughts exactly! There's been interest, but I think my location is a bit of a dealbreaker in that people don't want to come all the way down to Cornwall to view. Its up on ...

BUMP, BUMP!

Still for sale, now asking £5495.

Now that I'm driving her only weekly rather than daily, I appreciate how brilliant a car this is that bit more... Someone take her off my hands before I get depressed about it.

Try Opie oils, they had an buy 5 litres get 1 litre free offer, or something similar, on Castrol Edge recently and they deliver very promptly at a decent price. I think they do 'Oil Change Kits' too which will include the correct filter.

Thanks! Well I've had the setup for 20k miles now, and my OEM dampers were shot when I had the Bilsteins, the bushes & the rollbar put on, so as you can imagine the difference was huge. It really felt like a new car, and exceeded all my expectations. Damper-wise, I imagine it feels near enough like ...

E46 B3 3.3 Touring No. 113

Thinking of selling my car as I now commute to work rather than live there. 2002, 51 Reg, 140k, 4 owners including me (since Jan 08/95k miles), meticulously maintained with stacks of bills, receipts etc. One of only 9 RHD 3.3 Tourings produced for the UK, one of 17 E46 Tourings if you include the 3....

Twas I!

It must've looked blue because of the sheen of filth... :(

I was parked up there for a spot of impromptu camping in the woods nearby, and at 6.50 pm would have probably been in the pub not far from there!

I insured my B10 when i was 24 for about £800 FC with Elephant, I think I had 5 years NCB at the time, so it should be achievable. But as for buying a £25k car... Get him to spend £5-10k on a B10/B3(s) and put the money he saves monthly over the payments on £25k towards extra fuel and just-in-ca...

Have you got a slow electric window?

If so then I have some good news for you! The other day I noticed my driver's side front window had started motoring up slowly - I guessed that the regulator was on the way out and started looking at part prices and DIY guides. I stumbled across this DIY , which promised to fix it for only a few zip...
