Only 64 RHD B9 3.5s were made, and 25 B10 3.5s. The cars were made in the UK by Sytner (Alpina UK).
The B9 was created from a E28 528i, and got a bigger engine (3453cc) reworked airflow, and remapped electronics to raise power by 22bhp (240bhp) and torque by 12lb ft (236lb ft). Suspension was also tweaked
The B10 was created from a M535i witha reworked engine and suspension.
