Car Details:
1999 BMW ALPINA B10 3.3 5dr Touring
85,050 miles, Alpina Tourings? They're few and far This 3.3 model is number 15 of just 109 produced between April 1999 and October 2003. The B10 3.3 with its 5-speed manual box, silky smooth six-pot and sweeter rack and pinion steering is a touch more nimble through the twisty bits than its more powerful V8 stablemate with its auto box and more ponderous recirculating ball steering. With 87bhp more than the 528 and 35bhp up on the 535, performance is truly exhilarating with 100mph arriving in a shade over 16 seconds. But what truly impresses is the ride/handling compromise which manages to provide bags of driver involvement whilst remaining comfortable and compliant at all times. This well maintained example has been enjoyed by just two owners, the first an enthusiastic lady from the West Country who paid Dick Lovett the princely sum of £47,883 for the privilege of owning this bespoke family holdall. Dick Lovetts maintained the car for the first 50,000 miles at which point we became responsible for its well-being. We have all the service bills including the original sales invoice, and the rather fine Alpina leather wallet contains all the relevant books plus the all-important B10 supplement. A vigorous pre-sales inspection has revealed a few minor niggles all of which will be attended to before leaving us. some tail-hanging excitement!!!.
