Review: | Britain's quickest car 2006 It's 0-100-0 time, and Steve Sutcliffe has a superbike, an A1GP racer and 25 of the planet's fastest cars to play with In fact, the M6 couldn't deal with the ALPINA B6 in the event, which won't go down well at M-Division. The B6 beat it to 30mph by a quarter of a second, to 60mph by three-tenths (4.46sec v 4.76sec) and to 100mph by a single hundreth (9.87 v 9.88sec). And although they were just about identical under braking, the reaction time for the M6 was greater, possibly because by that time it was right in between gear ratios. So overall the B6 won fair and square: 14.95 v 14.80sec. Herr Bovensiepen, the ALPINA's creator, will no doubt be most pleased. The B6 came 9th overall. Read the full article Here | |||
